Privacy Policy

The Skin Clinic operates this website and is responsible for the information described here. You can reach us at 356 N Progress Ave, Siloam Springs, AR 72761, on 479-220-1554, or at hello@skinclinicsiloam.com.

• Information you give us. If you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and whatever you write in the message field.
• Email list signups. If you give us your email address to hear about offers and clinic news, we collect that address and the page you gave it on. We use it to send you those emails and nothing else, we never share or sell it, and every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to remove you at any time using the contact details above. Signing up does not make you a patient and does not create a medical record.
• Usage information. If website analytics are enabled, we collect information about the pages you visit on this site, when you visited, the site you came from, and technical details of your device: your browser, operating system, screen size and IP address. This is stored against a random identifier saved in your browser so we can tell a returning visit from a new one. It is not linked to your name, and we do not record your screen, your clicks or your typing. We use it only to understand how the site is used.
• Error information. If something breaks, our error monitoring may record technical details of the failure: the page, the browser, and the error itself, together with the pages you moved between just before it happened. It does not record what you clicked or typed.

Booking, payment and clinical records are handled in our practice management and payment systems, not on this website. Those systems are governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices.

If you choose to opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number to send you the messages you asked for: appointment reminders and, if you selected it, occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for assistance.

Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party for their own marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with the service providers who help us deliver the messages themselves, and they may not use it for any other purpose.

Opting in to text messages is always optional. You do not have to consent to receive text messages in order to contact us, book an appointment, or receive care.

Our contact form and our chat assistant are not secure channels and are not part of your medical record. Please do not include medical history, diagnoses, medications, or other health details in either. We will collect that securely during your consultation. If you need to discuss something clinical, call us instead.

The chat assistant is operated for us by Zapier, and what you type in it is sent to and stored by Zapier rather than held in our patient records. It answers general questions about our services, prices and hours. It is not a provider, it cannot see your chart, and nothing it says is medical advice or a diagnosis.

• To respond to your enquiry and, if you ask, to arrange a consultation.
• To send you the text messages you specifically opted in to receive.
• To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
• To diagnose and fix technical faults.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use a small number of third parties to run this site and our practice. Each receives only what it needs: our booking platform, our payment and financing partners, our email delivery provider, our content management system, our online store, and our analytics and error-monitoring tools. They are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

The site uses a small amount of local storage to remember your language preference. If analytics are enabled, a cookie is used to distinguish repeat visits. You can clear or block these through your browser at any time; the site will continue to work.

• You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
• You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
• You can use your browser's do-not-track and cookie controls.

To make any of these requests, contact us using the details at the top of this page. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
